Me and 4 buddies went to St Anthony last weekend. 5 guys, one truck, 850 km each way, 3 days (long days!).

Like always, the Blaster was a bit (quite a bit) out-gunned in the dunes, but the WildCard motor took all the flogging I could throw at it!

Thats sweet bro. If you ride dunes alot why not put some crazy dune port instead of mx port?

Well I hope you would be a little "outgunned" riding with a YFZ, two polaris scramblers, and what I believe to be an LTR.

They've all got you seriously with displacement. You'd need a lot more work done to that blasty to be able to hang with them... and even then you'd be sacrificing ridability.

Nice pictures man. Looks like a hoot and a half but the ride sounds TERRIBLE. In particular the return ride, 5 sweaty guys in a pickup truck...

yah, what sivic said, u were with a predator/outlaw?, a raptor and 2 scramblers, if u weren't out gunned a little there would be something wrong, haha

Well the Scramblers are a non-issue. Too heavy and pretty slow in the sand really.
The Rappy and Outlaw, yeah that's another story!

For the record, the Raptor and Outlaw are both piped, otherwise stock. The Rappy outclimbs it no problem.

We go to the dunes a couple times a year. The rest of the time we ride the awesome trails in the Rocky Mountains in Southern Alberta.

As for the ride home. Not too bad. Not great, but part of the fun and stories for later!
