parking break for blaster

whats the parking break on the left side for and i lossened a bolt and was gonna take it out then i tryed starting it and i tryed to rev it and it bogged out so i put every thing back wats the point of the parking break ON THE LEFT SIDE really ??? please and thx

its so the quad dont roll when its on a trailer or something i guess... i took mine off a long time ago. i never used it and it got rid of a big box on the handle bars

The parking break is useless on Banshees and Blasters, they always mess up. The new Raptors and 450's are a different design and work good. You Blaster bogged because the parking brake has some electronic stuff that keeps the engine from revving. My old Banshee did the same thing. If I remember correctly unplugging the TORS (box thing on top of the carb) will keep the engine running normal. Disconnect your parking brake and unplug the TORS and let us know if that fixes it.

Follow the wires down from the left lever under your hood and unplug it there.
