paint

lol my bad guys but getting it off the plastics.. and yea i figured why not make it look nice to lol.. sp

for the plastic, use a paint stripper.
then use sand paper to prep the plastic, then paint it.

not sure about lowes, they should never got it from there.
i get my stuff from an automotive paint store.

first is your plastic actually painted?
but for the stripped, let it sit on the paint for a little to start working. then use a pressure washer, or use soap and a brush to get the paint off, then clean it off.
once dry wet sand the plastic. use like 600grit. this will help rough the plastic up and also take out and scratches.
i would suggest using bulldug adhesive promotor as your primer.
Bulldog
an automotive paint store should have it, it is use on plastic bumpers

ok this is the steps
1) strip off old paint
2) clean plastic
3) wet sand plastic (600grit)
4) clean plastic again
5) put bulldog stuff on plastic
6) paint plastic (2-3 layers)
7) wet sand paint (1500grit, make sure to littlely do it, just to get out any run marks and uneveness)
8) paint plastic (1-2 layers)
9) clear coat (1-2 layers)

alright thanks man.. really appreciate all the help.. my motor is all tore apart so why not do this.. but how much will thius all cost.. i get sandpaper for free but everything else.. i think im gonna paint all red

get that fusion paint at walmart - i want to say it was $3.29 a can you might need 4-5 cans of paint
clear was same price, might need 2-3 cans of clear
the bulldog stuff at an automotive paint store - no clue on price, didn't buy it, but i think it will be around $10 for a can, you should only use a can of it.

also let the bulldog stuff dry over night before you paint it.
dont paint in cold weather either.

you are looking at around $40-$50 for all off it. depend on how much paint you use and stuff.
