C Cheesy New Member Jan 16, 2013 8 0 0 32 Feb 4, 2013 #1 I had my cylinder bored and got a new piston from the same guy (genuine yamaha piston), but the guy didnt tell me how much he bored it by. On the piston it says 50 and on the rings it says t 50, does that mean it was bored 50 over (.050)?

joeak47 Active Member Apr 21, 2012 1,544 379 125 Northern NEVADA! Feb 4, 2013 #2 That would be .50 MM,or 20 thousandths of an inch (.020). You have LOTS of over bores left on that cylinder.
