Over reving~~!!

I just took my carb off because i had alot of water in my gas, and i replace the gas, drained the carb, and cleaned one of the jets. I put it all back together and it started right up, and yanked my arms of my body. The Thing took off, no gas. I tried to ride it to see if it would fix itself but it didnt. So now its just sitting. Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

carb slide stuck...or on wrong

make sure the slide is almost all the way down when trottle is closed if not take the cap off the carb and turn the slide 180 and put it back in

yup been there done that pulling my trail 90 behind a quad to bump start it, just took off with no stopping, found out the slide was in 180 out. could just have a piece of something stuck in there too

I thought the slid could only go one way on these, mine only has one grove in it.
but he could have not got the needle valve in the seat, thus still letting the slid down anough to put the top on.

they have 2 grooves one is lower then the other if you put it in wrong it;ll be open more causing it to over rev
