over flow under hood ?

i was riding my blaster todayI:I but i had gotten of and i had noticed there was something leeaking undet the cowl or hood and i smelt it and it smelled like oil. so i had followed the hose to the top of the bottom end lol. but i had notice it kaer i was riding i was wondering what it was

thats just a crankcase vent hose man

I'm pretty sure its just a breather hose for the crankcase, i don't see how oil would have came out it though unless ur tranny was overfull or something.

ya thanks it might have been it smelt like oil is the anything i could do to fix

just make sure ur oil level is right in the clutch side and it shouldnt overflow

can be signs of a bad crankcase seal apparantly, if the seal is gone some of the pressure from under the piston can push through the seal and pressurize the tranny, when its pressurized the only place for it to go is out the breather :S hope it isnt this though for your sake I:I

when this happened to me i just pulled out the hose and re routed it so it wasnt on my pipe and burning all over my legs and the whole quad and made it go out the botom onto the ground and then after a while it stopped spitting. i would do that before you tear your motor apart to replace a seal. if it doesnt stop after a while i would bet its the seal
