outerwears on clamp on uni foam filter?

the dealers arnt open monday there damn that sucks alot of times i break something on the weekend and have to go up monday to gte what i need to fix it

i bought and ran an outerwears over my well oiled uni filter for the busco trip, not knowing what to expect in the sand, pulled it the second day there to see how it was, tons of very fine sand was clogging my uni, cleaned/reoiled it and rode, but the outerwears obviously isnt all it's cracked up to be, might be ok for heavy stuff or water, but it didnt stop sh*t in the fine dust department

filter oil is some of the stickiest sh*t known to mankind, < sucks gettin off the filter when cleaning it, and off your hands is even worse
but it catches the dirt particles as they try to pass thru the filter, which they will do if you dont run filter oil, not motr oil, < that will be fine for the heat cycles, but not for riding
think of them ribbon style fly traps < thats filter oil

an outerwear does help out. it catches come dust. it wont stop everything, but it does stop some. plus an outerwear is super easy to clean.

you no how i oil a filter, its kind of a trick, well i coat the filter in the oil, then get a bucket of water and stick the filter down in there and ring it out and work it under the water, bring it up, let it dry over night, got a PERFECTLY oiled filter, completely covered but not over oiled, just enough
