I am getting ready to tear down my blaster engine and split the cases to fix all air leaks. I have done some checking around and was wondering where everyone would recommend buying the complete gasket and oil seal kit. I usually buy alot on rockymountainatv and dennis kirk. I did not see a oil seal kit on rockymountain, but I seen one that was a pro x that had the complete gasket kit and oil seals but it said it did not include the crank seals. Why not? I don't want to order a kit and it not have everything I need. Otherwise found some on ebay, but would like to get everything together if possible to save on shipping. My nearest yamaha dealer is now 100 miles away, so better for me to order everything anyway. I still want to get the clymer manual and a flywheel puller so just seeing what everyones opinion is to where would be the best deal for me. Thanks!!!

get oem yamaha crank seals, bikebandit and motosport can get you oem parts.

and at least get a yamaha base gasket too. don't forget a little gasket maker on the reed cage gaskets.

Assembly lube works really good too. Yamabond works the best on the cases. I dont use anything other than Hondabond and yamabond.

What I would Order
Assembly Lube
Yamabond
Bel Ray Gear Saver 75W or 80W
OEM Seals
OEM Base Gasket
I'd re-ring the dumb biotch while its apart. (make sure to hone the cylinder)
