Oil question

im getting ready to change the oil in the blaster and what would be the best oil crankcase wise. to use? some people have told me motor oil but i dont think thats right due to the wet clutch setup? so if you guys have some advise for the oil let me know.

i run BEL-RAY 80w .. haven't had any probs with it ..

yeah bel-ray 80w gear saver sh*t. and do not use any crankcase oil that is ment for cars or other sh*t. ONLY types made for quads, or specificly with a wet clutch.

I usually run a BelRay oil...

But I have several friends that just use motor oil.

I guess the main thing is, avoid an oil w/ lubrication additives... Just a cheap, motor oil would prob work fine... Although, the wrong stuff would probably cause major clutch slippage...

You don't need to change your tranny oil that often though, I would just pony up the 7-10 bucks for the right stuff & be done w/ it- You dont even need a full quart.
