Oil pump and tank?

is a yamaha blaster supposed to have an oil pump? Mines missing the pump and has a sort of metal cover where its supposed to go through and its also missing an oil tank.
If it is supposed to have one where do the lines get routed and how many are there?
Also what does the oil pump even do? pump oil to the carb or something? could i just do a premix and not have the oil pump?
I bought this pretty cheap as a broke down bike to fix hopefully i didnt get screwed out of an oil pump but seems like i did, idk.

sounds like someone installed a block off kit. it is now set up for premix. 32:1

yep they must have just blocked off the oil injection. you need to premix.

Make sure the nipple on the carb where the oil was injected is blocked off properly.

Nipple is brass, right side of carb, right next to where air cleaner boot goes.

yep thats plugged with an orange cap. another question on the left side of the carb theres a few holes with nothing in them. only things is the plunger type thing i think might be choke but idk. and the gas line.
sorry ive never had a 2 stroke before lol i only know 4 strokes.

those holes are nothing im pretty sure and yea the black plunger is the choke hence why it says choke on it lol
