Oil leak

I have an aftermarket exaust (ldr). Where the 2 connect it leaks oil when cold. Anyway i can prevent this. I tried tightening it, but it still leaks.

do you mean where the head pipe connects too the silencer

You might need to get a new exhaust clamp. Try checking to make sure the two pieces are slid together completely, that could also be the problem. I'm pretty sure most ppl have to get a different clamp though for this problem.

thanks for the quick reply. yeah all it has is like a toggle bolt as a clamp. I tightened them, but that didnt seem to work. They make different clamps? I will have to look into that. Any suggestions?

u could probabaly use a peice of hose clamp...thats whats on mine o had the same prob and then its fine..... welll now its fine welcome!

use a piece of radiator hose and 2 hose clamps thats what I did.
