Ok i had my oil seal go bad on my crank and it suck up alot of into the crank i replace the seal but my question is will i ever be able to burn off the extra oil in the crank or do i have get it out i dont want to split my case if any one has an idea on how to get it out it would much help thanks

just drain it.
take the exhaust off, and lift the back of the quad till the oil comes out.
also you really dont have to worry about burning it off, it will be pushed out with the fuel/gases

well that coment didn't make much sense. dude had an air leak and sucked a bunch or tranny oil into the crank chamber. sheeblast's idea will work well. just take the plug out and move the piston to the top b4 you tip it up. when it stops pushin air out the plug hole and starts pullin it is at the top

ok i am lost what oil seal went bad that he changed without splitting the case ? i thought he ment his crank seals where bad ?????? i still vote to beat the sh*t out of it either way just to make sure you fixed the problem LOL

ok i got that but where did the oil come from that he is saying got sucked in ? tranny oil gets sucked in from bad crank seals ? how can it be so ?

U have to oil seals for the crank one is the stator side and the other is one the clutch side. The clutch side sucks oil stator sucks air. I have two problems with beating the sh*t out of it first is the topend is fresh so beatin it up will more then likly cause it to fry second is that ill be fightin a losin battle cause i belive the oil thats in ur gas also lubes ur crank so ull just be fightin urself so ill go with sheeblast idea but thanks anyway
