well i took my blasty for spin today and when i was shutting off the petcock i noticed a little "i mean little" spot directly under the carb.at first i thought it was fuel and put my finger in it and smelled it..it was oil.it was clean looking but still it was oil i think..what else could it be as it was under the carb itself? i checked the float lever and in at 20.39mm so thats ok..in just stummped.also it leak tested ok and compression test was at 135psi

oh well then..... i have no idea either...

could it be from the crankcase overflow oil line???

no that i routed out the back of the bike..my buddy did reming me though i had the carb off to plug chop.i remember when i put the fuel line back on and turned the petcock on, the line was not tightly on.could some fuel mix have possibly spilled and the gas evaporated while riding and leave just the oil behind?i dont know..it was literally like three or four drops of oil i found.the whole rest of the motor and case etc was dry.and it was leak tested prior and after this..lol am i just paranoid 8-|

This most likely could have caused it.

Is there a possibility that the float bowl gasket is leaking just a little, evaporation will remove the traces of gas but leave a residue of oil.
