Oil for soaking clutch fibers

I got my new clutch kit in and i need to know what oil you guys use/suggest?

A BIG NO NO, Just use Type F Auto trans Fluid, Synthetic will cause clutches to slip.

I use Honda GN4 it works like a charm pretty good stuff.

i've used the honda stuff too, for years, it'll say right on the bottle for "2 stroke transmissions"

but, my new driveline performance clutch recommends mobile1 5w-30 full synthetic
so thats what i soaked them in, and use currently

Plain old engine oil 10W 30-40 with no friction modifiers!

So is the Castro Synth. 10w-30 a go or no? If not I can run out tomorrow and buy the Honda GN4, we actually have some GN4 in the garage

I really like the yamalube or GN4. Yamalube is a little cheaper though

Go with one of the two best AMSOIL or MOBIL1 4T that all any of my cars,trucks,motorcycles,dirtbikes,or atvs see!

Cool...Keep'em in mind for the fluid changes in the future.

I personally wont run anything but synthetic.
