oil coming out of the exhaust

i had a post on here about oil coming from the cylinder leaking out of the exhaust port. i ended up putting some high temp rtv on there and it is working out well. i also jetted the quad differently which was one of the reasons why there was so much oil i think. but now that its all sealed up, the oil is coming out of the exhaust and it doesnt look like premix, it looks like gear oil. why would this happen?

out the back of the exhaust you wouldnt be able to tell the diff between premix and gear oil... its a 2 stroke oil in the exhaust in the exhaust is normal... any oil is gonna leave a gooy fim/ sludge in the silncer... my cr125r's swing arm was a solid black film and it was jetted right and running 32"1

My cr is jetted right and it still gets a little bit of oil out the pipe i think you're fine

I doubt it is gear oil. If it was gear oil it would be smoking real bad and smell bad also....

I run 40:1 also and get a little bit of oil out of the pipe,

I bet if you ran 32:1 you would get some comming out of the silencer. Or your silencer packing is still soaking it up. How new is the silencer?

I used to run my old KX125 at 40:1 with a new silencer and it didnt leak either.

its normal to drop oil from, maybe u over oiled or the oil is all down on the gast tank, maybe its the otherway and heat make old pipe n silencer drop carbon / oil out...


just to be sure, check often gear oil level, if it drops, then u have a problem, if its not, then is fine...


btw... like some1 said, gear oil smoke smells toxic, mix oil smells like lot of fries and potatoes

we all know waht burning motor oil smells like from a old car/ truck.. if you smell that its no good

i just clarify it to avoid get in panic, coz every1 once got oil came out of exaust, notice or not noticed, allways come a bit... (just need to put the hand on the silencer and see the black spots it left on ur hand, those are oil marks)
