Hey guys dumb question time again....

The guy i got the bike from said it was "blocked off" but when i opened black cover the autolube pump was still there, how else can i see if its really blocked off or not?

I did not see any oil bottle but that does not mean it was just removed, want to make sure it was blocked off properly before i fire it up when the piston gets here

Its not blocked off it just sound like it is disconnected. there is a white plastic gear behind the pump that you should make sure is off.

To do it right you should remove the pump and cover the hole that goes through the cover.

Here is a pic of what the block off looks like it is the metal cover where the oil pump went.

i would work a week and get on craiglook or ebay or this site and try and find a cheap case or old bottom end someone has just laying around. you would be amazed at what kinda deals you can find and how many people will actually help someone out. those holes look terrible im not gonna lie. they are huge and any hole in your case is in a bad place.

Bummer X(

Yeah i found 2 motors there both 2 hours from my house, a little farther then i want to drive if i dont have too and there also expensive....

I just want to either bolt on a new running motor or just a bottom end, not really wanting to split cases or anything like that, it still needs a top end anyhow.... X(

Im depressed now :-(
