I just got a blaster a couple weeks ago and i have heard that the oil injection is known to go bad and i was wonder if its a good idea to get the vito's oil block off kit. i dont know how to install it so if someone could send me pictures on how to do it that would be great. and if i do do the block off which i probably will whats the ratio i put in.

look in the diy section of the forum. there is a post that shows how to remove it without the kit. what you premix depends on what you like and what oil you run. some people run as high as 50:1, others 32:1. i run about 40:1 in mine. use the search, there are other posts on what oil is the best, ratios, etc.

you c an definately do the blockoff. i just did mine couple days ago and i am no mechanic. couple tricky parts but no problem. the tank is gone and you can premix your own oil to gas ratio and know for sure what your are getting. i used four ounces of oil to a gallon which is 32-1 . and perfect from what i read and is still less than what the stock oil injection uses.

ooops one more point........

i also bought the kit and it is nice to completely do the job right and remove the whole oil pump and plastic gear that runs it just for piece of mind. nothing to worry about

40-1 wont hurt ya spend a few ext dollars and get a synthetic oil. and block off kit is easy 2 do

will the oil that i got Yamalube 10W-40 still work good with it or what kind of synthetic oil would u recommend and what is the best ratio for best results
