Ok so I'm wondering in your opinion what oil is the best to premix? Also what is the average time a engine lasts without breaking it in? I'm just wondering about the break in, I plan on doing it just curious

Whats your jetting bud? With that Toomey, on a stock 26mm mikuni carb should be around a 310 or higher. Im running a 340 with my needle clip in the 3rd slot. I run Bel- ray Mc1 but when i do my rebuild, im gonna switch over to maxima...mix at 32:1 and never do anything different. 32:1 is 4 fl. oz. to each gallon. use part of the gas your mixing and rinse out the excess oil in the measuring cup. this way you know you are doing it right. I would run the highest octane of pump gas that you have in your area.

An engine without break in will not last as long as an engine with break in (obvious). There is no telling WHEN it will blow.

have you done a leak down test?? very important unless you like to rebuild your topend, i sell them pm me if interested. and the break-in is pointless without doing a leak test because it WILL go boom if your motors not air tight :)

hey man no matter what oil you use if it has an air leak it will not make it far. also unless you have your bottom end assembled by a professional you should do an air leak test.
and since my last rebuild i use maxima synthetic blend

No question about that, but why must we have to read about this guys leakdown testers in every rebuild thread. If someone asks a question then answer the question and don't push your product.

well my blaster wasnt leaking before i blew my motor up. also im runing a 310 and thats lean so i need to go higher im thinking of running a 340 and seeing where that goes
