I know this isnt really the best place for this but I need help. I was rebuilding my 2002 xr80r and I took the camsprocket off the camshaft and I finished the rebuild and I went to put it back on and it wouldn't go back on. Does anyone know thanks.

you have to remove the tensioner to allow the chain to slack enuf to get the cam sprocket on.
be sure to have the timing marks aligned
I don't remember what it's called but would I have to take out the little metal peice that goes through the tensioner on the head. Or would I have to take out the one on the bottom

cam chain tensioners are usually on the head, 2 bolts to remove it,
the one on my 200x was......remove from head, push spring loaded pin in, lightly tighten bolt to hold it in, once replaced onto head, loosen holding bolt to release the spring loaded pin to tension chain.

you should download the manual i linked above.
