o ring

is there suspossed to be an oring on the exhaust flange?and what about for where the pipe and silencer meet?

I wouldn't call it an "O-ring" ... more like a metal gasket type "o-ring" and YES there is one... if your rebuilding there is most likely carbon build up on it to make it look like the face of the flange.... use a sharp object.... and scrap away the carbon...

as far as the silencer... it is just a rubber boot....

where the exhaust hooks into the motor theres suppose to be a round gasket that goes in first .
