Not Idling

My blaster will not idle on its own. I have to give it the tiniest amount of throttle for it not to die. Also it will not start unless I give it a little throttle. I tried unhooking everything for the tors, adjusted the idle control on the tors, and played with the air screw without it changing at all. Any ideas? I really would like to get it fixed before I go to the Badlands Saturday. Thanks

my bike is pretty much stock and i have found out that will wont idle without the air box lid. have you taken yours off ? if so try putting it back on and seeing what it does

Really? I did take it off. Is this common? I'll put it back on and see tomorrow.
Does it do it even when its jetted?

this might be the case for my blaster too, i have to do the same thing and i don't have an air box lid on

when you guys took the lids off, did you rejet, and adjust the idle mix screw ???
clean your carbs, remove all jets, including the pilot, spray thru all orifices, blow out with compressed air

If you can't get it with throttle or air screw go up one size on pilot
