I am going to rebuild the motor from the bottom to the top. i want to know what the most reliable engine componets are. i was happy with the speed it had before it blew up. i am thinking of the vitos crank. what clutch kit should i get? And im already going to go with wiseco on the piston and rings. is there anything else i should replace while im this deep in the motor?

What needs replaced: Crank Bearings and seals, Clutch Push-rod and bearing, and examine any gears that are wore and possibly replaced

What to get (my opinion): I like my Vito's Clutch, very strong. Hot Rods Bearings and seals, Vito's 3+ Stroker crank. Though i dont have a stroker, Many people recommend having it. If you don't already, have your jug ported to match up with stroker crank. You will gain more power throughout. I would also be getting a better exhaust if your gonna be modding it like this. Toomey, Shearer, LRD, Dynoport, CPI, F7, Bills, and even a Vito's Fat Bastard, are great exhaust for blasters. I'd stay away from FMF and Pro-Circuit.

Hope this helped!

im doing the same as well....clutch push rod and bearing?? really? is this the pushrod that comes out of the center of the basket to the pressure plate? with the steel ball in between? i have my out and i did notice some wear and discoloration on parts of each rod. are these known to have problems?

check for a worn right side counter ballancer bearing and the right side crank spacer that rides between the crank and seal for grooves/wear
