Wouldn't surprise me! I can't remember if there is the same number wires comming from each i wanna for his year say the cdi has five and tors has four, but don't hold me to that it'ss been too long...

Okay, so the solid black wire in my extra CDI is cut does anybody know what that wire is for?

Well it was the black/white wire that was cut, everything else was good so i put the extra cdi on and it started on this cold day 2nd kick. Gonna run Regular gas with synthetic oil. Im rebuilding the carb either monday or tuesday.

Here is the diagram use the other one to see what number mean what. #8 on the left side is the CDI
