You want the ProFire PFC-03S.
It's the one I run and will work on a Blaster motor too.
Drawbacks? There is none

I might try it if anyone thinks its worth it. higher voltage so probably quicker fuel burn and explosion?

There's a member named Stuart on E2S who holds the flying mile land speed record for a dirtbike. He's running a Nology coil on a modded out KX500. He has dyno tested the the Nology coil and it was actually worth a few hp.
If your thinkin "so what just a few" well as far as ignitions go that's really a sh*t ton.
For me it cured my meth starting problems.
For you guys it should give you quicker starting, a snappier throttle response, less fouling, and better fuel economy.
