2001 Blaster, TORS removed, K&N Air filter, NGK plug gapped correctly. Only a few hours on the new cylinder and piston, ran great last few rides.
Went riding monday and the quad ran ok except when I came to a stop the blaster would stall. Yes, I had the clutch pulled and and tried adjusting the idle screw and idle air screw and it didnt help. Still stalled when I wasnt on the throttle.
On tuesday when we went to go riding it wouldnt start at first then when we got it to start it would bog BAD at WOT then eventually die. We cleaned the air filter (very dirty) and tried a plug from another running blaster. Still no luck. We took apart the carb and cleaned it, fresh gas, cleaned plug, had spark and plug was wet with gas. Now im looking at compression (no compression tester available). Seems fine, kick starter is hard to move like it has good compression. Reeds are intact and clean. Any ideas are appreciated. Im stumped.
