I'm new to the sight, so here goes... I have a '91 blaster and it won't spark. It ran great for a while, then it sat for a couple of years. I cleaned the tank, carberator, and spark plug. I removed the TORS. I removed the stator flywheel and cleaned that area of rust and corrosion. i checked the orange wire to the coil with a light tester and didn't get anything. I know the tester is good because I tested it first. I tried disconnecting the killswitch wires and nothing. I noticed that while I was cranking (kicking) it over that the headlight and low oil light would come on. Does this mean the stator is working? I'm no electrician and don't want to buy parts I don't need. Any help would greatly be appreciated!
