I am having the exact same problem with my blaster.I replaced everything just like the original poster and still no spark.I even had a spare voltage regulator from my spare parts bike and nothing.
When i kick the bike over you can see the low oil light come on just like it's supposed to but I am not getting anything to the coil.I installed a Ricky stator, does anyone know if the color coding might be different?
I got a week to get this fixed for my first race, any help would be appreciated.

is urs an 88-02?on the ricky stator there is an extra green wire but i heard it is an extra lighting wire.i have a 5 wire stator like the ricky stator is but mine came from an 03+.could this be my problem?

Mine is a 88 motor being installed in a 2000 frame.
Everything I have been reading says that there is a difference on 03's and up.

idk maybe someone can chime in that can help us out
I sure hope so.I'm starting to run out of beer(LOL),this thing has been driving me crazy for a while now.
My problem started, when I bought this bike from a friend of mine.It ran real well when I bought it but the clutch wouldn't disengage,so I fixed that and everything was fine.
Come back a week later to go for a ride and it ran like it had water in the fuel.I drained it and replaced it with new fuel and everything seemed fine, but at that point it was too late to go for my ride.We rescheduled for the next weekend to go.

Next weekend it would not run at all.NO SPARK.
Pulled the cover off of the stator and a crapload of water ran out of the case.
I had a spare blaster that has all the electronic stuff so I started swapping stuff around.Still NO SPARK.
So I broke down and bought a brand new Ricky Stator, control unit,CDI,and flywheel......and guess what????? Still NO FREAKING SPARK.
Iv'e checked everything(switches,grounds,coil resistance).
I'M Going Nuts.

ok if you have a ricky stator which is 5 wire and ur harness has four.you have to ground the extra green wire.i email the guy who sells the ricky stators on ebay and thats what he told me and i tried it and my sh*t fired right up.SO IM BACK TO RIDIN

well i'll just go ahead and jump on the band wagon...I bought a new coil and a ricky stator too....but still nothing. I have the green wire grounded to the frame because mines a 93...I think the stator they sent me is junk because my buddy looked at it with a multi-meter and it's getting nothing to the charge coil.
