Check that all connections are clean (no corrosion) tight, add bit of dielectric grease. Make sure all ground points are clean bare metal, add digrease. Ohm coil and cap seperatly, trim 1/4" off coil wire, install cap with digrease. Make sure switches have continuity when closed and none when open, normally open/closed. Be sure coil mount is clean bare metal, add digrease, better yet is to run seperate ground from coil either tied into harness or directly back to engine.
