I have a 99 blaster, I recently purchased and redid the topend. Had to bore 30 over and got a wiseco piston. It has full fmf exhaust, boyesen reeds, K&N filter, oil blockoff and running a 300 main jet, 32.5 pilot jet and haven't checked the needle clip yet. I know that 300 main jet seems a little rich but that is what I was running at prior to my head problem. I have the airbox cover on (w/ holes drilled in it-not my mod) so I assumed its like an open airbox which requires a richer jet so it makes sense. I searched Fmf and they recommended a 260 to start but I think it is reference to everything else being stock. It basically wont turn over unless I give a little throttle and it wont idle without the throttle being opened slightly. It is getting gas in the carb. I run 32:1 Maxima Super M oil mix. It seems like a pilot jet problem to me but it could be anything.
