No exhaust gasket?

Had exhaust leaking from where the exhaust and engine meet so I took it off and it appears there was no gasket there. There is supposed to be one there right? Also it looks like vibration (Im guessing) indented little rings around the hole there. I did look at the piston and it looks perfect though.

it probably wont fix the leak. get some copper rtv and put it in there with the old gasket.( a pretty liberal ammount) that will seal it right up

I have a similar question.

looking at attached picture of my cousins blaster, is this flange suppose to be dettached to the pipe itself?

because on mine it is not like this at all. It seems to be one weld.

the only ones that detach are the aftermarket ones

I have the stock exhaust and mine is detached also. It does not appear to be broken off in any way though. When I removed the pipe it was loose just like your picture.
