That's just to keep dirt out of where the oil pump used to be.

My bad the oil pump line comes out a little further back, thats where the water pump would be on a dt200. It doesn't matter though thats not the problem.

I was talkin to coreyownz and hes haven the same problem i am he was just doin a rebuild and hes missing a reed...i think thats it...makes sense cause i lost compression over time so it musta broke at lil bit at a time right?

take your carb out, then your carb boot, make sure all your reeds are inplace, and that they didn't brake. i had that happen to me on the first blaster i had... it's pretty easy ... it shouldnt take more than 5 minutes.
