I have a 1989 blaster and a 2006 blaster. The 89 doesn't have an air box, the 06 does have an air box. I was using a little k&n filter (if someone could help me find the one I was using that would be awesome) but it fell off while riding a while ago. It has the stock mikuni carburetor. The 2006 I just bought and the guy bought a carb off of eBay and then threw the mikuni away 
. It doesn't have a name on it anywhere. The 89 has a full FMF exhaust system, pipe and silencer. I was running boysen reeds, but now stock. I might switch back although I haven't noticed a difference in power. Like I said the 2006 probably has some Chinese carburetor on it, it has a DG silencer and I might put a fatty pipe on it. I'm at about 4,500ft elevation.
