Just bought a 97 Blaster for my kids for Christmas. I'm having some issues and need help. When the engine is cold, I have to put a salamandor by it to heat up the block when it's cold so it will start. It's also hard to downshift. Adjusted the clutch lever cable tension to see if it will help and unable to start. Any help will be really appreciated.

welcome! what is a salamander? i'm not the brightest but i can help..... did ya pull out the choke? is it hard to kick back or really soft? could need a top end rebuild......... is the fuel on? probabaly not that but it couold be......... does it have spark???? get back to us!
a salamander is a little gas heater....what hes saying is teh engine is cold, he has to heat it up to get it to start.
