Hi I am new to the site I just recently got a blaster on craigslist in trade for a cheap china brand machine. Thing Runs Great New Top End Oil Injection Removed TORS Removed boyesen Reeds other than that Pretty much bone stock removed the front fenders and going to swap out the stock head light for the Wally World light mod that has seem to become ever so popular. Other than that I think I am going to leave her pretty much stock and run her the rest of the season like is and during the winter tear her down and rebuild.

welcome, also it is boyesen reeds.
and it looks liek turf tamer rears, not sure what fronts those are, but that right one is balding.
also is the seat duct taped?

I know I'm new but wow, your just chopping on this quad, did yours look like that when you started out or something?

Its a start and it gets him on the path to fun and educational experience

Not everyone can go out and buy a brand new bike and just ride it till it dies and then go buy a new one.

Hey Aaron, it looks like a good project and i hope to see some pics of you out rippin it up soon, show everyone what its made of buddy.
 
Yes the rears are turf tamers and Ill tell you what the fronts are junk lol I was just saying last night I needed to get some new rims and tires for the front and yes the seat is duct taped lol (hey doesnt always need to be pretty just functional lol) Like I said im just riding the way it is right now for the rest of the season than doing a ground up rebuild of it. But No Matter how she looks runs like a top. And might not win a beauty contest but going from a SUNL to this even as rough as she is shes still my Beauty lol

i wasn't trashing his quad.
i was say it also has nice rear tires, and the front are different but that one is balding. and i wasn't sure if that was duct tape or a design.
 
Thanks High-Tech your right couldnt afford to buy a brand new one Technically I got this one for $175 cause thats all I paid for the POS Sunl I traded it for so not a bad deal with a new top end in it. I have some pics of it out and about I will have to hunt them up and post them. But Its definitly a fun bike cant wait to get to work on her of the winter I would start now but I am having to much fun ridding it lol

Aaron, you stole that bike, thats AWSOME! cant beat a "REAL" quad for $175 worth of jap crap. good grab man
 
I have been looking at either a FMF or DG not sure which to get yet thou Like I said I want to work on it but Dont know how much I want to do now and How Much I want to just hold off on till the rebuild

hey man sweet ride!! you got a friggin' steal bro I:I as far as pipes FMF is ok... DG stands for dont get its the worst pipe made for these things, like they said an f7/ ct/ power pros/ phantom/ trinity pipe (there all the same design w/ a right hand bend and have diff names on them) they look great, sound amazing and its the BEST all around pipe for a blasty hands down.

there are many pipes, F7 is good, Shearer is good, FMF is a ok upgrade on a budget, there is many out there. i know there is a thread about exhaust and poeple's reviews of them.
 
Well Im Honestly Glad you have had good luck with yours mine was a nightmare right from the start than again I guess I shouldnt off been so trusting of the guy I bought it from either he was almost pushing us out the door with it lol Ah live and learn I guess and beside if I didnt get that than I wouldnt of made the trade for the blaster :)
