What's up all?

I'm new to blaster forum, hell I'm new to blaster itself. Just got a 95 blaster a few weeks ago so doing the usual web searches to see what I can do to it as well as what I shouldn't be doing.

I've already used this forum to correct some idiotic things the guy I got it from tried. He was using Lawn Boy 2cycle gas mix in it. he has been running it with less than a quarter quart of oil in the crank case. He actually thought the bike was going bad even after he had a shop just do a top and bottom rebuild. Turns out the dumbass didn't know the plugs go bad eventually. Short version.. I got the blaster for $400... the cost of the rebuild and bore.

Anyways, I could go all day about how I've been fixing his mistakes..
Like I said I've used this site already to do my oil pump block. Worked great by the way! I've started using Yamalube 2R. Proper crankcase lube level and change. I had to rehang all aspects of the exhaust because it was literally just barely hanging there. Oh yeah.....new plug. So now it's to where it needs to be and running great.

I live in northern Indiana and I'm on here to learn tips and tricks and possibly find some new riding buddies considering I'm the only owner of toys out of my friends. I've got places to ride but it gets boring with my girlfriend cause she's slow and scared of her grandpas honda 450 4x4. If you wanna chat drop me a line and hopefully something will take off where we can get to ride together and have some fun!

thanks Phil-e

welcome to the forum.........

hope you weren't planning on that thing staying stock, because hanging out here, it wont lol

That's actually why I signed up. I don't want it stock. I do all my own work so getting dirty isn't a problem...can you belive this idiot actually had mice living in the air box...took the lid off and a huge mouse nest all over the air filter...WTF

Some people just don't take care of there stuff. I couldn't believe some of the stuff I saw when I was looking for my 2001.

hehehehehehehehe "i don't want it stock" i like this guy.

well start with brakes/suspension. these things leave a lot on the table in that respect. hydro brakes, works shocks, extended swinger, wider axle and some extended a arms are a good start.

wider axel? I thought crashing was part of the riding experience? hahahaha..... I'm new to blaster not riding. So far as the suspension sits stock I've found it sufficient enough... haven't rolled it yet but came close.

welcome aboard man. you will find more than enough info for mods on here.

hell boys i put mine on the side two wheels the second time out doing donuts hehe not the best idea with a stock blasty in tall grass..I:II:II:I what the hell is wrong with me oh well im still alive

That, Shee, was you, as always.
Also, as always, you are looking at it all wrong, you don't PAY for the help/time here, you donate to a good cause. it's rational thinking, another quality you go without.
Point is try to think before you speak, sure PLENTY would agree with me around here.

AND, it always seems to be strappers like yourself that do the most shiaat talking and are NOT members, go find another forum to litter...
