New to forum, but need help.

I bought my first Blaster, but it is not running right. It spits and backfires out the exhaust and takes a lot of lugging it around to get it to rev up and then it pops and losses power.:-/

sounds like you may have sheared the key on he flywheel.

has the avt sat for a while? if so you may need to clean out the jets and the choke circuit.

it could also be the flywheel woodruff key as well, if you are in the chattanooga tennessee area bring it by i'd be glad to take a look at it for you

I found that I can get it to run pretty descent with the chock half out.

you've probably got a clogged up pilot jet, or you've got an air leak
