im look for a blaster mostly stock somthing i can play with and mod slowly when i get the extra cash. what are some concerns and bad thing too look out for when going to purchase a used blaster?

oh you are talking about the transmission thanks for the input what are some good mods to look for pipes filter ect.

Turbo's are good for Blasters cause they are 2 strokes, if it was a 4 stroke you'd want to stick with a super charger. You can get a Banshee hood to cover the front mount and people will think it's a Banshee, until they see how fast it is.

If you aren't going to do serious racing and riding, I'd say go with fmf or pro circuit for the pipe and silencer. As far as filters, uni is probably your best bet. reeds are a cheep replacement. I run boyesen super stock, and there's a huge power difference between those and stock. drill holes in the air box, jetting. Everything I mentioned will cost you less than $50 a piece, except the pipe and silencer and make a significant difference in power. After that, you can get into bore sizes, porting, gear ratios, etc.
