Well, I tracked down a brand new 06 blaster here in Missouri and I am going down to buy it Thursday the 17th. They have 3 more NEW 2006s left, if you want to know where its at Ill tell you.

I am just wondering what upgrades you all might recommend I do first(in a month or two). Anything I should know about them, like certain parts to replace right off the bat that are prone to failure? Also, what all stock suspensions will fit on them, Ive seen people say they have the YZF450 and TRX450 front shocks on, hows that done?

Well, just wanting to say hi I guess, I plan on be pretty active on here and also post dynos hopefully as I upgrade to see if it really gains power and how much with each engine mod. I:I

welcome to the forum man, all u gotta do is search for what ever ur looking for, everything has been pretty much coverd at one point or another, and every one will try to help out, so good luck with the new ride.

welcome!! you're gonna love it here people are great (except for blasterman312, nah just raggin on ya bud lol)
first mod i'd reccomend is tires.. then a pipe
also, you can take your airbox lid off for a little more power :P

Ok, did some searching on the front shocks, found out what is needed to do it. But no info on the rear shock.

Hey blasterfreek, did that 400ex shock bolt right up?

no u have to do slight mods to the shock, and some say they have to mod there airbox for the ressy, but mine just barely touches it, and i didnt do anything to my airbox. there is also threads about mounting the 400ex rear shock, heres 1

Changing my shocks

I would Get a Pipe and exhust (FMF, Or Toomey), also Def. change your reeds(v-force is what I have they work great) and they give you more power. I would get tires and yes remove your airbox cover it will help alot.
