New to 2 stroke

I wanted to say thanks for all the informative posts on this site. I have been looking around for a couple weeks now getting information. I just picked up an 98 Blaster for my wife and I have been trying to figure out what all is actually done to it, and the information here is invaluable.

Thanks for the replies guys. Decided that I just had to know what is going on with this bike...so....I ripped the head off and measured the bore and stroke. Found it has been bored .02 over, but other wise is completely stock. Wife was not very impressed when she got home and her bike was in numerous parts all over my garage.

I have the cylinder and head set back on until I get gaskets now.

think about what she'd say if she came home from work and you had the motor sitting on the kitchen table......it goes over well

Looks pretty good! When I got mine the piston looked like someone used it to cook with over a campfire, lol , the cylinder was bored .70 over & cracked.

she was surprisingly calm...lol she even helped lift the blaster off the porch after i finished it

That sucks man, had to get a new cylinder I'm guessing?

Welcome to the forums bro. U will find alot of help and alot of very useful info here
