Here is the deal I found someone that has a 92 blaster and wants to trade for a PS3 w/ mlb 09 and one controller. Thats the price you can figure the numbers out either way but thats the easy part of this.

The info on the blaster is well he says its starts up in 2 to 3 kicks but if you goto jump on and ride it dies. He saids its just the gasket and that he has a brand new one but never got around to getting it installed. My worries are is the whole top end done on it and needs a rebuild? Im still waiting to get pics from the guy as far as what it looks like ect. Thats all I know about it as of now.....

Now I know its a 92 which doesnt bother me to much except am I going to be to big for it??? 5"11 195-200lbs? Other thing is I know with the age of it that its going to need a rebuild on it anyways but how many has it had so far is what bothers me about it? Am I going to have to bore it out and sleeve it? Im rather mechanically inclined and dont mind working on it to make it mine but is it going to be a waste as its so old to throw money into to make it worth it? I have never owned a atv so this will be new to me but im up for it. I currently have a 98 jeep wrangler that is my toy/dd that I tinker with and mod and dump my money into now but im looking at going to an ATV.

Any comments or information would be great!!! Thanks ahead of time for any imput.

umm first find out if its bored, and usually to rebuild you measure it and if its been running alright and the rings are set good and theres good compression (above 140) then you should be fine and when you rebuild it sometimes it just needs to be honed not bored, only when you f' it up hardcore does it usually require a bore then a hone and also a new piston

OH but dont let him tell yo its a 240big bore, if ts only bored 40 over.. you gotta measure the piston size ( usually on the piston are numbers and the last 4 tell you the size like 8589946 6750 is what my piston says for instance * the numbers are made up except the last 4) that means its a 67.5 mm piston and I have until a 68mm until i will need a new top end

ya like I said my big concern is its history I know its OLD and I expect that someone sometime beat it to crap and back so ..... I guess im just a bit worried that im going to end up with a bigger headache on my hands then needed....

I wouldnt do it. A ps3 is like $600 and I can get an '01 with a few mods for like $800-900 in illinois but it kinda depends where u live. I bought my old '03 for $650 and it ran great. If ur patient then u can find some killer deals on blasters. Craigslist is littered with them. Idk, thats my opinion
