new parts from 'The Ox' installed!!!

soo happy with the stuff i bought today!! as soon as i shut the car off i was gettin the parts out of the trunk!! installed everything in the rain!! and staired at my wheeler for about 10 min cuz im sooo happy the way its looking now!!!

originally went there to buy the front bumper and rear fenders and maybe the 14t sprocket.. ended up gett eh all the about AND the rear rims and tires... not sure of brand of rims but there nice polished aluminum, with itp 18x11 hole shot mx tires with tubes.. there FREAKING light!!... he told me a price on the rims and tires i couldnt refuse!!! definatly happy with the parts!! wish i woulda brought more money with i prob would have bought more from him!! anyways here she is!!!

yeah.. gonna paint the front fenders and prob the gas tank cover tommrow .weather permiting'.. gonna change up my color scheme to black silver and red .. il leave the a arms black, swinger wil go black once it gets extended frame will be silver pegs and heal bars will stay silver, and ill have red iron cross stickers on it


and yes i know the stock expansion chamber needs to go! or painted... i think ill do it in that high temp ceramic paint from the auto parts store

we have to many things in common 2smoker.. same seat, same front bumper..

think i should sand the paint off my front rims and try to polish them up to somewhat match the rears?? granted there steel but with some work they might shine up. or leave them black??

i wouldnt polish they might rust.. but it looks good forsure..

yeah.. i know will rust.. just him them with steel wool once aweek... or polish and clear them.. ill prob leave them!

just checked the weather and looks like high of 35 and freezing drizzle and or snow tommrow... looks like ill be bringing the stuff into the basement to paint instead of the garage

im doing black and silver as well..
i wouldnt suggest tring to polish those front rims..
1. it's going to be a pain in the neck go get em to shine
2. they will rust and all your work is lost.. like my kickers.. lol

i think a good digi camera would do my quad some justic. looks sooo much better in person than pics.. EVERY pic i have ever posted on this site was taken with my camera phone

Nice to see you got a good price on your parts!!! Looks good.

As I said before, dont polish your stock fronts...It will be easier to buy nice fronts.

Its also not worth it to have them chromed or nickle plated. You will spend more money doing that than you would buying brand new douglas or ITP.

yeah.. i need to figure out what brand the rear rims are ox wasnt sure cuz they came on a quad he bought..so id like to try and keep it match sets so to say.. definatly very happy with all the parts.. im not one for shiney stuff but damn the rear rims look sooooooooooooo good!! ill get a close up pic of them tommrow if it snott o crappy outside
