I'm hacking up some old 2-stroke exhausts for my Blaster's cr250 pipe , made some progress already.
Just have to make a flange to fit cylinder and another slip-on flange for removal/install purposes

Slip on isn't going to work, impossible to get the pipe out of the frame . Sorry for the terrible 'welding'

When the pipe fits, will clean the welds up and remove the dents as good as possible.

Been grinding in the intake today for my cr 125 reeds, just cut off the mounting flange of a cr 125 cylinder for some much needed clearance because the cr reeds are taller/longer.
I've been doing this on my standard, last bore cylinder.
Because i need to get the cr flange welded on the blaster cylinder i'm first trying this with my last bore cylinder and not the Vito's.

Going to rebuild the engine this winter,
Yamaha o.e.m bearings and gaskets
pro-x rod , Homeported Vito's with wossner piston, Honda cr 250 pipe,Rino silencer, Hpi inner rotor, Honda cr125 reed cage and intake manifold, mikuni vm 32 33 and some clutch plates.

normally i would say yes but then it's going to be an high rpm only set-up,
So trying this first with the 32 vm Mikuni(already own that) for some mid-end grunt and if it can't deliver on top rpm , Flatside!

This had me thinking,...I've owned a 1980 Cr 125 Elsinore back in the day and it had a 34mm Keihin carb (wich I still had laying around)
Think i am going to use that on my Blaster instead of the Mikuni 32.
Keihin should be a better/more hp carb what my searches found out, we will see... View attachment 24856

Pulled the engine out, you can see the oil coming out of my leaking crankcase
And some crappy pics of the Vito's, that has been cleaned up

Going to port the cylinder to match the Honda CR250 pipe,first my stock cylinder and if happy with the results the Vito's is up next.
set-up is going to be:
Ported stock cylinder boyesen ports, last bore with Wiseco pro lite forged piston/ported Vito's with Vito head
1986 Honda Cr125 reeds and intake booth
1980 cr125 Keihin 34mm carb
1989 Honda CR250 pipe with Rino silencer
Hpi inner rotor ignition
oil block off

Chassis:
18" rear tires
extended wheel hubs
Alu nerfbars origin unknown
aluminium mx steering bar
dirtbike twist throttle and controls
Ufo hand guards
stock suspension
license plate
no electrics except ignition
removed bumper,heelguards,chain/diskguard (we don't have rocky stuff)

need to do:

Give the frame a fresh silver paintjob
new chain& sprockets
airfilter
upper a-arm bushings
new brake fluid and brake pads back & front

Before splitting the cases, must have a clean engine, and polished my home made base plate for the Hpi and the rotor.(no one will ever notice with the stator cover on)

Stock Vito's and home ported:

Enlarged Boyens'ens, some epoxy added , flowed(NOT polished ,shine is rattle can silver with a rough finish)
Have to widen the intake for the cr reeds still and has to be ported to cr 250 specs.

Found some pics. of the Hpi cdi with 2 curves for the ones that are interested, costs about a $100 cdi + switch.

Back to the Blaster: made a port map of a vito's 240 with a modded exhaust port.
With some reference numbers on it.....
This is not the end result, but now it's reasonably stock still for the ones that wanna take some reference points for stock jugs or so.

It's chemical resistant, and rated for temp. between -20°c and 120°c
