today i finally got my my new carb on and i dialed in the main after the the 140 i tried had no mid power and put in a 138 and it has a load of high rmp power but not that much mid and has a lot of low just not much mid and when the powerband hits i doesnt kinda slide into it like it used to it hits really hard now and brings the front wheels up, i was just wondering if it should do this or if i might be off with my jetting somewhere, i did a plug chop and the 138 was just right, but it needs more mid any ideas?

and when i say no power in the mid i mean mid rpms like if i hit the throttle and it isnt in the power band it slowly gets more power as it get in higher rpms but when it hit the powerband it hits it really hard now, but it seems it has less mid than with the stock carb and its harder to keep it in the powerband

i had a 140 in there and it was too rich, when i put a new plug in with the 138 it ran a lot better and gave it more mid, and the plug looked perfect, do you think it would help if i went richer?

would reeds cause it to act like this? my reeds are in pretty bad shape right now with like 1/8 to 1/4 gap im surprised they are still working im gonna buy some new ones after my birthday when i have some money to spend
