new member from central ohio

hello all, i guess i'm the new user on this site now so i'll introduce my self. My name is Dillan, and i live about 20 minutes northwest of columbus, ohio. now for my quad. i ride, well i rode a 1990 yamaha blaster. i got this quad from my grandpa who bought it brand new about three years ago in a box. my uncle blew it up in about 1997 or so and its been in a box ever since. i got it and put a brand new hot rods crank in it, which now i wish i would have put a stroker crank in it. it has a wiseco piston and everything internal except the transmission i believe is brand new. i recently tore it apart to paint the frame and to do several upgrades, but i now have a bike payment on my sm and i'm starting to realize i cant do everything i want to do on Pizza Hut wages with bills to pay. anyways, i think that is enough about myself. sorry for the novel

Welcome, sounds like a good start on a pretty sweet Blaster! There is never enough time or money for your Blaster. If by some miracle I was finally done with every mod I could think of I'd still want to take it apart & have it gold plated!

thanks for the welcome guys. i've been searching around the site a little bit and i can tell this is gonna be a very useful site with lots of good information. oh, and before you go dismissing me as just a spoiled rich teenager, i'll just let you know i've been working the same job for about 30 to 35hrs a week for the past two and a half years while a full time high school student to have everything i have. here are some pictures. sorry for the bad pictures. and thats what the blaster looked like before now, but now it is in a million pieces in my garage
