wad up to the 2 stroke community.. ive been riden my quad since 02 recently i just got the toomey b1 kit....and came up on a .240 bore the original jug was resleeved and ported also came with new airbox and kehnin 36mm carb all for 150$ just orderd a weisco 68mm piston waitin for it to start doin work any suggestions about how i should go about gettin started with the rebuild

Welcome!!!!! Get a clymer repair manual. They are worth every penny (about $30 on ebay)

I'm from chi-town too (close, anyhow). Just got my blaster last night from a guy in Melrose Park. I didn't even get to ride it yet. Took it right to my mechanic to tweak it. Once I get a feel for how it should be, I'm gonna attempt to work on it myself. I'm pretty bad at mechanical work though.
