Re: New gun toy

Nope, shoot for the fun of it and home/self defense.

IMO you don't have to be LE/Mil to have cool/fun guns. Just the same as you don't have to be a pro racer to have cool/fast cars or quads. I:I

Love it. I was heavily swayed by the fact that the Crimson Trace laser replaces the backstrap and fits like it was made as part of the gun whereas other guns it clips over the grip and widens the gun.

It disappears when I conceal it with my Crossbreed Supertuck. I have an Arrendondo mag extension which gives me 5 ( 9mm ) plus one in the chamber for 18 rounds total. They advertise +6 rounds but the 5th is almost impossible to get in without a mag loader.

Something to consider, if you buy the .40, you can also buy a 9mm barrel and magazines and essentially have two guns in one. Simply swap out the barrel and use the right magazine and you are blazing away with 9mm. They are the same frame and slide. Unfortunately I figured that out after I already purchased the 9.

Keep that finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot!

tacticool...

looks good bro. i need a couple lasers for my xd and g23.

WOW! With a light that bright, you don't even have to shoot them. Just blind them with the light, run up to them and kick them in the nuts.lol.

Thats a 135 Lumen light. I have a 300 Lumen for my AR. The AR light has a tight, focused beam. I can shine that light onto a barn 1/2 mile away. :D

So if I get a .40 I can convert to 9mm? But can it go the other way? Buy 9mm convert to .40?

Correct, you can go .40 to 9 but not 9 to .40. Not sure why the .40 won't work in the 9 though. Here is some reading material for you do you know I'm not talking out my ass I:I

9mm M&P barrel in a .40 S&W-a photo comparison-UPDATE IN OP-Range test - AR15.COM

Only problem is that unless you have a lot of cash at the time of purchase, you have a .40 until you can afford to buy the 9 barrel and mags. Still a functioning gun obviously, just more expensive ammo an bigger recoil.

My friend has a Glock that I seem to actually shoot better than my handguns. When I was originally looking to buy the Glock didn't point naturally for me, but they fit nicely in my hand. I think I will give one a shot next time I buy a handgun. The 10mm is kind of tempting :o
