New from Kansas

Hi all!
Just went out and bought a 2000 Blaster.
They said the kid ran it on straight gas and no oil.
Guess the motor locked up so the guy took it apart.
Then sold it to me for $250.
Now I have it in pieces.
Looks as if the skirt broke off the piston and is now in the crankcase which is leading to the locking up?
Can't wait to get this project going!!

welcome to the forum good luck on the rebuild blasters are fairly simple to work on so you shouldnt have any problems that someone here cant help with and your lucky finding yours for $250 i would have grabed that up too

you can possibly turn the bottom end upside down and spray some parts clean all up in it and rotate the crank at the same time.thats how i got all the pieces out when my piston broke
