Got my FMF installed today with a 280 main. Head pipe still needs a lil cleaning but its a far cry from what it was.

280 seems too small. But I'm not the best at jetting. Sounds great! How do you like the power?

From what I've read alot of peeps on here with the same mods are running 270's. I have a 290 I can throw in. I didnt ride it yet because I have no where to lol. I'll see how the plug looks with this 280.

what oil are you using and at what ratio? also sounds good seems to be jetted just right.

Put the 290 in for now to play it safe. Do a plug chop with the 290 in and see what it gives you. Better to be rich than sorry. Has a low base idle sound, but sounds kind of like my LRD when revving.

I agree with using the 290 to start out. Then do a plug chop to see where you're at.

btw - I use a 300 main for '3000 elevation.
