New Exhaust Tuning

i finally finished installing my new exhaust. I went riding this weekend to do the final tuning for the Toomey. The throttle on the top end is really slow, but when it hits midway, the bike pops up and accelereates. I know i need to tune it, but im not sure if it needs more or less air...or could it be the fuel screw?

Did you use the 310 main jet, and set your needle to the 3rd position? I put a bone stock carb on mine once that had the factory jetting, and it wouldnt rev past 3/4 throttle. It was running out of fuel on the other end. I upped the main jet and it came alive on top end.

no, but i have an aftermarket carb which is bigger...i think i found out what the problem was... thanks anyways
