Hi, im new to this forum, so i just wanna introduce myself, my name is santtu, i live in finland, and have a blaster... feels like the introduction to an aa meeting or something similar, a blaster addicts meeting!

Well, i mostly ride quad cross with it, it has a procircuit pipe, carbon reeds and thats about it i think.

Last time on the track, just after the landing of quite a big jump, my carb broke, the screw-on lid had come off, and the thread on the carb is f*cked, no idea how it happened, probably was loose all along.

Well, i dont think there is any way to fix it? So im opting for a totally new carb, was thinking of a 30mm keihin (replica), good idea or not? but then the jet thing, im used to jetting racing 2 strokes, but when i looked into the stock mikuni 26, and saw it had a 240 jet i was kinda surprised, as normally i use max 140 jets for 28 carbs with no airfilters? So i just wanted to know is there some other system for these quad jets? And any idea of what jet sizes i should get, theyre pretty expensive here (aprox. 5$ a piece) so would preferebly only get about 5, so anyone able to tell me the range i should get them in?

Thanx alot for the help!

dude you shouldnt be runing without an airfilter i think the main jet is like 300 for a toomey just look it up for a procircuit pipe jet size

I wasnt talking about running my quad without an airfilter, i build racing scooters. Please read before answering, now anyone, who actually knows anything about what im asking please answer, so im ordering a keihin pwk 30mm carb, but im not sure about the jet sizes i should get for it?

THe mikuni jet # are almost double the size of the kehnin. mikuni 300 main equals around 140-160 kehnin. hope this helps out

did not know that. good thing to know. are you sure though? cuz everyones like run this and run that size jet when theres a huge difference depending on the carb make.
